The Bagel Place has been part of Amarillo’s morning routine since 1994. What started as a family passion for good food, honest ingredients, and a warm place to sit has grown into something the Texas Panhandle calls its own.
The Petty family opened The Bagel Place with a simple idea: bring the kind of food that takes its time. Their Italian heritage shaped everything from the gourmet baked goods to the homemade soups, and that same warmth carries through in every person who works here.
More than 30 years later, the recipes are still the same. The produce is still fresh. The meats and cheeses are still sliced in-house every morning. Some things don’t need to change.
Fresh-baked bagels in more flavors than you’d expect. Deli sandwiches built the way they should be. Breakfast worth getting up for, lunch worth coming back for, and coffee that makes the whole thing better. We also cater. Because good food tastes even better when you share it.
